You can still complete and manage your existing tasks. You just can't add new ones until you finish some or switch to Autopilot. Think of it as the app trusting you to close the loop. All your data stays safe — always.
Can I cancel Autopilot anytime?
Yes. Cancel anytime from Settings. You keep Autopilot features through the end of your billing period. No guilt, no dark patterns, no "are you sure you want to leave?" guilt trip.
Why tasks AND spending in one app?
Marshall McLuhan argued that every tool changes how you think before you think about anything. Every app switch is a context switch — and context switching is where ADHD brains hemorrhage energy. FocusLedger is one cognitive environment, not a collection of tools you have to stitch together yourself. See the full framework →
Why does this app feel different from other ADHD apps?
Most ADHD apps are what McLuhan called "hot" media — dense with information, demanding attention, overwhelming by design. FocusLedger is intentionally "cool": spacious, inviting, trusting. It presents less and asks less, so your brain can do more. The interface is the intervention. See the research behind our approach →
Is annual billing worth it?
Annual works out to ~$8.33/month instead of $9.99 — you save ~$20 per year. If FocusLedger has become part of how you move through your week, annual is the natural commitment. Less friction, less cost.
What about "Coming soon" features?
Features ship continuously. Autopilot and Tandem subscribers get everything automatically as it arrives — no extra charge, no upgrade cycle. Going Autopilot early is how you shape what gets built next. The science of building lasting habits →
How does Tandem work if my partner doesn't have FocusLedger yet?
Tandem starts a 14-day free trial for both of you. Your partner signs up and you can link accounts — no credit card required during the trial. Tasks stay private by default — you choose what to share.
Who can see my tasks in Tandem?
Only tasks you explicitly mark as shared or household are visible to your partner. Private tasks are never shown. Your data is yours — Tandem is designed around that principle.
